Healthy Tips of The Week (June 2, 2009)

Hello my friends,

I wanted to bring you some more healthy tips of the week. Leave some feedback.. and let me know what you want to learn about.
Healthy Tip #1 – Switching it up!: We often get into the gym, and try our best to get through out daily routine. We stay on the treadmill for an hour, or the elliptical, and we target the same muscles when we lift, or strength train. This is something that our bodies get use to overtime. We get into the same habits, and we our body just takes it as part of its daily happenings. We need to switch things up in order to see the best results. If you are on the Elliptical for an hour, try splitting that up with something else. If your on the treadmill for an hour, try the bike for 30 minutes with that. This will target some different muscles in your body, and will help you break plateaus, and will challenge you in the gym once again.

 

Healthy tip #2 – Motivate yourself! I am firm believer in the bible. I believe the words, and the stories are true. I would like to share a small verse, and a explantion with you. This could help you lose weight! AND MAINTAIN A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE!

Proverbs 23:7 – For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.

(This should influence us to think positive thoughts. When we dwell on the negative, we will see negative results. When we think positive, we see positive results. Just keep that in mind when you are working out, or before a workout. It will help you out. I find it amazing how God’s word gives us these little details.
