I am back with more healthy tips for you this week. Let’s get started, shall we?
#1- Too much protein?!?! – Yes! You can indeed have too much protein. Protein has calories. Calories that are not used, still store as fat. It doesn’t matter if these calories are from carbohydrates, fats, or proteins. Unused calories will result in weight gain. Some people think they can eat as much protein as they would like, and never gain any weight. That is wrong, you can still gain weight from all the unused calories.
#2 – the 10,000 step a day challenge: I find the 10,000 step a day challenge to be the best challenge they have issued to me so far! I do not have a pedometer, but I do count my steps often. 10,000 steps = 5 miles. That means that every 2,000 steps you take = 1 mile. I took this challenge.. some days I am doing it very well, and I actually go over that amount. Other days, I just don’t get that many steps in. I try to get at least 3 miles in a day. I take one day off a week, and it is my cheat day. =) I need one of them days to keep sane! haha!
